General Audition Information
Welcome to Drury! Please read below for important information about the audition process for our instrumental ensembles (wind symphony and orchestra).
-All students audition at the beginning of each academic year.
-Most auditions are held in Clara Thompson 250 by INSTRUMENT GROUP at SPECIFIC TIMES (see schedule below). If you cannot make a particular time, please arrange to 'swap' with another student at another time block (different instrument group ok). Auditions will only be held during the times below--no alternate times are possible!
-Auditions last 5-7 minutes! Scheduling/contact forms will be completed at the first full rehearsal.
-For RETURNING (not first time) students, the fall audition also serves to confirm the continuation of your activiy grant(if applicable)!
-Please arrive a bit early to your time block to arrange an audition order with your colleagues!
-Audition results/part assignments will be posted in time for the first full rehearsal of each ensemble.
-Auditions for the Drury Jazz Ensembles occur separately--please see the bulletin board next to O'Bannon 101 for more information or contact Dr. Tina Claussen.
