AASHE Online Resources

This resource page from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education includes very informative campus case studies on sustainable investment, as well as examples of the socially responsible investment policies of peer institutions. As a member of the Drury community you can access the provided information by creating an AASHE acount for yourself using your Drury e-mail address.

Responsible Endowments Coalition links

This organization specifically provides resources for schools and student groups who are aiming to shift their endowments to more responsible investments. Online Resources

The organization, has a specific campaign underway to encourage and support universities to divest endowments from publicly held companies that mine or burn coal.  Below are specifc links to resources they provide: Building a global grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis

Co-founded in 2008 by Middlebury Schumann Distinguished Scholar Bill McKibben, promotes grass roots activism in response to climate change. The name of the organization refers to the goal for atmospheric CO2 of 350 ppm, considered to be the threshold for sustaining life as we know it on our planet.
