Procedure for helping all
patrons if the Slide Library is supposed to be open but isn’t, i.e., during
Slide Library Open Hours. (See schedule)
1. Check to see if there is a
note on the Slide Library door.
2. If the note is pink, call
Vikki @ 7348 or Dr. Stoan @ 7282.
3. If the note is ½ sheet
white, Jacque is in a meeting in the building and should be called. (Conference room # is 7488.)
Procedure for Slide
Library “After Hour”* Access For Professors Tom Parker, Tom Russo and
(For study of slides only,
not checkout.)
When
above prof. requests after-hour access:
1.
Sign professor in.
2.
Accompany him/her down w/ the key. (Even if one of the others is
already down there.)
3.
Unlock front door only. (Not office or workroom.) Check that the door locks behind them. They are not supposed to let anyone else in.
When
above prof. is finished:
1.
Sign professor out.
2.
Go down to the slide library w/ the key.
3.
Check lights in all slide cabinets.
4.
Turn off all light tables (if left on).
5.
Turn off overhead lights.
6.
Lock the front door.
PLEASE, if you find one of those three in the slide library
but they have not checked in at the desk or been logged in, leave
