Health on the Net Foundation

Because reliable medical information is of the utmost value for us as consumers, always look for the HONcode symbol on medical Web sites.  It represents a stamp of approval from the Health on the Net Foundation founded in Geneva in 1995 with the aim of certifying free health Web sites so the public knows they provide quality medical information.  Sites must apply for HON accreditation.    HON Code
