Interlibrary Loan Print Page



Before ordering a book through ILL make sure you have done a SWAN / MOBIUS search for the book. Remember it takes 7-10 days to fill your request through ILL and usually only 3-5 days through Swan or Mobius.

The purpose of Interlibrary Loan is to borrow books and obtain articles from journals not held by Drury/Swan/Mobius.

Please check the Library Catalogs first. This is much faster than Interlibrary Loan which can take up to 2 weeks.

For Books:

Need an ARTICLE - check to see if we have it !!

Article Search

  • Worldcat – click on “Borrow this item from another library” or there is an ILL button at the very bottom of the page.
  • EbscoHost– click on “Interlibrary Loan at Drury” button
  • ProQuest Central – click on “Request this item” button

Need to know if we have a JOURNAL?


Cost: There is no cost to Drury Patrons

Delivery Time:

  • 7-10 work days after placing request.

 Loan Periods

Interlibrary Loan books and videos/DVDs usually have a 4 week loan period with 1 renewal of 2 weeks. Overdue fines are $.50 per day. 

You are limited to having a maximum of 15 items through Interlibrary Loan.
